Thought y'all might enjoy this.

I have installed an air compressor in the attic of my garage/workshop. Being in the attic means it's difficult to power it off when I'm not around & using it.

So I used pump-start relays controlled by my ADICON RLY-8X digital IO boxes and use motion sensing/door open events in Premise to ensure the compressor is only on when I'm around.

Sweet setup. I like the extra storage tank. The compressor's nice too. B) I am building a garage now and plan on having a master switch that can be controlled through the my Elk M1 that will do similar to what you are doing. It will cover the air compressor and certain workbench outlets, once the bench is built...

What pump start relay are you using?

Nice work! The wiring job looks very professional. This really makes me curious about what the rest of your Premise install entails; I can only imagine the craftsmanship on the rest of your install...

PS: how's the progress on the windows 7 phone interface? Any chance you'd be willing to share the source code? It appears your example would be useful for those of us who are learning Premise and .net (me in particular).

Very nice setup! Professionally done!

My compressor is at floor level in the garage and its drowns out the music in the garage when running; it would be great to put it in the attic of the garage.
