SIRI interface for Home Automation?

Too bad my phone plan is SOOO cheap! I'd want to upgrade to get the SIRI just for this!

Esp. with Homeseer's ability to understand "basic" voice commands! Might be fun to play with!

i've sorta done something like this a while ago as a proof of concept. my house has an im interface and i use google chat on my epic 4g to im to it, but i use the speech to text feature. i still have to press send after every voice command but it works pretty well.

Way cool. Someone also made a robot to open beer via a seri command. I can't waite till I can use ipad3 with seri or my iphone to control my HAI or whatever home automation system. Althought intercepting with a proxy I am not sure if that is the right way to go. Maybe if you use some sort of key phrase first.
