TED 5000 and Google

Hi,

Anyone using the TED5000 and the google power app? I getting ready to buy a power meter and thinking this is the one to go with.

Satisfied with the unit and the google service?

Yes I got the TED 5000 a month ago and works great...does everything they say it does. I was referred to it by Google Powermeter. After setting up the TED I signed up for Powermeter. Then realizing that the TED gave me more information than Powermeter did, I saw no point, nor wantedto, broadcast my energy consumption across the interent...so I disabled Powermeter. I see no reason for it.

MY vote is that the TED 5000 is one of my most used HA accessories and will pay for itself in a another couple of months by informating my where my energy usage is being wasted!

I also have a ted 5000 and have google power enabled. I like google power since it comes up on my google home page and others can see it. The display is better but it has limited range. I can only get about 40' away from the ted then I can't use the monitor which means it only reaches in about 15% of my house. So the Ted monitor although nice has been useless to me. The ted webpage is good thought.
