UPB Wiring Question

The wiring in my light switch looks like the picture below. Do I just cut the white wire and hook it up to the UPB switch?

Yes. You need to access that neutral. Is yours pulled tight thru the gang? It could be difficult if so. Best bet, in my opinion, is to cut in and wire nut the two pieces back together with a short jumper to the dimmer.

Exactly, you'll need to cut, wire nut together and bring out a tail to connect to the switch.
