Premise Uploading to Downloads section

Anybody notice that there is a 100K limit on uploads in the download section of the forum? I'm trying to upload a new version of the Insteon driver, but no-joy...

Any ideas?
 
Yes. I noticed that as well. I had a couple of files I was going to upload that are bigger than 100k. Is this a new issue with the forum? I'll drop an email to the moderator......
 
Well, I have an open-source ElkM1 DLL and source code that I plan to upload. Mine is under 36 kilobytes. It's in C# and it's portable over to Linux with Mono 2.0, from Mono Project.

Why is yours over 100 kilobytes?
 
The 100K limit presents a problem for anyone who needs to post an application, like an Insteon driver. The driver may be accompanied by graphics files or utility programs. Add an illustrated manual and it is very easy to exceed 100K.

I hope the Admin can make an exception for the Premise Downloads forum.
 
I've been hounding Dan :blink: about the upload limitations.....and his last response (Thanks Dan!).......

It will require some changes, as right now, there is no 'group' Premise Users (upload limitations are group based). Since I am in the middle of redesigning some features, it would complicate things, but I do have something planned which will hopefully take care of the current attachment hosting issue.
