USB to CAT5

I'm searching for a USB to RJ45 adapter. The length needed is under the 16' for USB so a passive device would work fine. Active ones are in the $100 range - and I'm think this should be a $15 item. I probably could make one, but that would likley cost me more in time than a simple adapter.

The idea came from the readily available RJ45 to DB9 adapters out there. Use them all the time and love it!

Anyway, anyone know where these can be had?

Good info guys. This was for someone else and failing finding a pair of passive ones - and not wanting to bust out the soldering iron - they got an active one.
