Water alarm without siren? M1

I have water sensors wired to my M1. When water is detected I don't want the siren to sound. I tried selecting silent alarm but that didn't work.
Any idea?

I'm guessing that you have the zone definition set to 25 (water alarm) which will result in an audible alarm.

Did you try setting the alarm cutoff timer for the water alarm (menu 06, CT10) to 00000? 
 
If that doesn't give you the behavior you want, try zone defs 13 or 14 (Aux1 and Aux2).  Or you could also use 16 (non-alarm).  For these, you'll need to write some rules for whatever you want the system to do to get your attention.

I use type 25 and the silent check box.

I set mine for a cutoff timer of 0 and use voice announcements with repeat.
