What to do with homerunned telephone in closet?

Telco plugs into it and they can just walk away. Whenever they need a telephone line, they can just plug a Cat5 cable they buy anywhere from here to your patch panel. Plus: built in RJ31X for security panel.

Yea - I looked at that (and ones similiar to it from other brands), but decided to go the cheap route since my only intention is to make it easy for a new homeowner to have working phone lines if needed.

Ah, OK - I get it... I prefer being able to just use a patch cable end-to-end (not the punchdown end) but it'll serve its purpose just fine.
