They basically take pre-orders for batches of tools.  Takes about 6-9 months and they're not cheap.  But, man, they're well-made.  I've got a couple of them and they're really fantastic to use.

I'm sure it truly is great quality stuff, but when I saw the 12" and 18" squares offered from Woodcraft a few weeks ago for between $160-$180 or so I was blown away. There is no way I'm spending that much on a square... and I spent $10k on a dedicated workshop a few years ago, which is mostly dedicated to wood working. My wife and I are currently looking into having a home built, in which I want to have a larger shop built (24x36 or 32x36) so there's obvious passion for the work, but I just can't justify that cost.

I have a Festool track saw and their MFS worktable that has the attaching track.  The larger square is ideal for quickly squaring up the track and the guide.  I 'can' do it other ways but the money spent on a large and PERFECT square saves me time.  That and when cutting anything more than 20" or so (with a bevel) even the slightest variance leads to uneven edges.  I don't have a monstrous table saw with outfeed table, so the track saw handles a lot of that work.  I don't cut pieces often enough to justify the expense and floor space for a Saw Stop.
