Wireless Motion Detector - Specialty

I am looking for a wireless motion detector to use with my HAI Omni Pro II panel. I want one that will detect motion only when someone walks through a doorway. I do not want one that detects a wide area. Any suggestions?

If you have the hai wireless receiver you could use the wireless motion sensor. You could then mask off part of the field of view to get a narrower trigger zone.

Does it absolutely have to be wireless?

If not you can use a DS160 or DS150 REX motion like the ones used on access control systems.

Unfortunately, yes, this one pretty much has to be wireless.

How do you mask off part of the field? I'm not familiar with how this is done.

Very simple actually. Some motion sensors come with little stickers that you can put on the inside of the lens to block part of it off. If they don't come with them, you can always use some tape.
