It appears the worthington distribution forum referenced in this thread for HAI programming examples has been closed off to the public...

They had a slew of awesome HAI programming examples that I always went to for reference when I was adding functionality to my panel. This was the link posted by trumpetr in 2009:

It looks like it may be possible to request a dealer/installer login access. Does anyone know if this content is still available and if I, joe blow consumer/hobbyist, can get a log in now that it is professional dealer and installer only? Is there another resource for extensive programming examples for the HAI panels? People on there were copying and pasting their whole automation scripts, some several posts long.... I believe they are the distributor behind ASI home (which does not have what I am looking for on their forum).

Thanks.

If that's the case, then I think we'll have to start something like this over here, since this forum will always be open to anyone.

I haven't been able to get on the Worthington forum for a couple of months.
Looks like there is an updated link on the Worthington University page, that wasn;t working a while ago.

Worthington University

Here's the direct link to the forum (looks like it's "pending").
I just re-registered, my old login was invalid, I'm awaiting approval.

I've used the Knowledge Base quite a bit.
It's been off line for as long as the forum and it still looks like the link is bad.

A new HAI area should be here with programming examples. Cocoontech doesn't get hacked or go offline for months. I would also assume Cocoontech probably backs up their data!

ELK actually has a subforum that's programming related, I could set something like that up for HAI as well, assuming people will use it.

It would be a great idea Dan!

I used to frequent (quietly) the Worthington forums all the time.

I remember speaking to so so at the Spring EH Expo about the issues at Worthington a few months back.

Great bunch of guys there!

Is anybody willing to post their complete HAI automation script? I will, but it certainly isn't going to help anyone but the most basic novice learn from me... I only have a few light triggers and some 'night light' functions. I will certainly put it up as an example and for comment if we get a sub-forum. I am in the process of trying to figure out a vacation/away light script that would simulate us being home.

Do people consider their own stuff private? Not necessarily as in not wanting to share, but seeing it as a security risk?
