Z-Wave Door Lock Questions

I am looking to replace the door handles on my door that leads to outside with a Z-Wave (or similar wireless device, if existant) device. I have a couple questions about this:

1) My current door has a regular knob and deadbold. When looking at online replacements, it looks like the ones that come with a deadbold replacement (if any) seem to be very large. Would I have to cut out more of my door for these knobs to fit inside?
2) How do they hold up to extreme temperatures? I live in iowa, so it can get down to -20, and up to 100 degrees easily.
3) Will they all easilly integrate into Homeseer? I can post on that forum if needed.
4) Do they all come with a key also? Or, is that hit or miss depending on the model?
5) Can a locking / unlocking of the door trigger events, like turn on lights and what not?

I have schlage brand-
both bolt and lever have keys
really easy to integrate with Homeseer.
normal holes are fine.
to have both the bolt and lever, you need to flip one over, or move the hole, but the diameter of the hole is fine.

my front door has the bolt, garage door has the lever (most used in Winter).

So far, the lever is used 4x or more per day, the bolt...maybe 30x since it's been installed (the front door is more of a summer thing, or UPS shows up).

They were installed...I'm guessing Black Friday-ish.
The bolt is at: 94% battery level
The lever is at: 86% battery level
