Z-wave signaling switch recommendation

I recently took the plunge into Z-wave after snapping up some of the GE switches on sale at Radio Shack. I installed my first switches and was surprised that they don't signal their status each time it changes. I have to poll them with Homeseer in order to figure this out. Therefore, I don't know a switch has been pressed until I poll it, and if I wanted to trigger an event from the press of a switch then I have to poll it constantly (every 1 second in Homeseer). I assumed that a newer technology like this would have some sort of smart signaling that sent out notice each time the device changes state. Are there any Z-wave switches that do this?

Leviton's ViziaRF+ line does this, but you probably want to make sure it works with the homeseer controller (I use Leviton's VRC0P RS232 controller). Also, I would look at Cooper's AspireRF line. Leviton will probably come out cheaper, but Cooper is more tested with Homeseer...
