Today I started to see a Zone trouble (gas) on my ELK M1 Keypad. When I open the ELK PR system to verify the status of all my zones I notice the system is telling the Volts for this particular zone is 8.5.
I have another zone set for Gas for the detector located in my basement but that one is showing a voltage of 7.1 similar to all my other zones. The zone showing me trouble is the gas detector located on the main floor.
Both of my gas zone are set for definition 20(gas alarm) and the state is EOLF (=).
The zone trouble message is not on for the entire day. What can be causing this issue? Is it the voltage detected? Would this be caused by the resistor?
