HAI Snaplink and TV's

I am looking into whether there is a way to install Snaplink on a TV. It would seem that an Android having Google Play may allow for I am, however, uncertain and thought to post the question here while I research further.

Many years ago HAI did offer a plugin to Windows Media Center. Microsoft discontinued support for Windows Media Center a few years back and HAI never really supported the plugin after it was released.  You still can find it for sale if you look, but I wouldn't buy it.

Here still using Wine 1.8 on Ubuntu laptop.  Updated Wine to version 2.0.
 
:~$ wine --version
wine-2.0.2
 
 
Tried Snaplink and it works perfectly.
 
Will give it a go on Kodi (all of the Kodi boxes here run on Ubuntu 16.04 64bit which is preferred over Kodi Android)
 
If the preferences is Windows purchase an Intel mini box with Windows 10 on it. 
 
Run Snaplink on the Windows 10 box (or Kodi with Snaplink on it).
