Water Shutoff Valve

Thank you David.

Yup I am not a plumber either.  I have though learned a bit the art of copper pipe soldering over the years.

My ingress water main already goes from 1" to 3/4" for a supplimental pressure pump which still always triggers.  (really had only 20 Ibs of pressure here when I moved in).

The above said not really sure if I need a 1" full bore or I will be OK with 3/4" reduce bore. (both water meters are 3/4")

Pete,

The pipe entering my house is 3/4" but I was thinking of going with the 1" to make sure there is no reduction in flow but I doubt adding the one item would have much effect so I think I changed my mind and will go with a 3/4" instead.  I decided that where I do my best thinking...in the shower. :)

Moved this from the other thread to here:

I had a problem with the links but found the sheets on line(other thread). I was
thinking of a 1/2" valve for air but noticed that they only go to 1.0
mpa (145 psi)...

Do you know if there is
a small higher pressure valve that will work with 175 psi? I looked an
it seems like there is only the 100 which I would have to adapt.

Sorry about the issue with the links in the other thread but it is fixed now (copy/paste error).

The KLD100 goes up to 2MPa (290 psi) and there is a 3/4" version, the DN15.
