@Thac,
WebControl HW revisions have 2.2.2 and 2.3.7 and 2.3.8. On hw rev 2.2.2 board, its voltage regulator can be pretty hot, adding a little heatsink for VGA or RAM on top of that LM2940S could help cooling off that regulator. On hw rev 2.3.7 and 2.3.8, they use switching power IC, so that they do not heat up. We have tested hw rev 2.3.x boards in up to 80C temperature range and still operate fine.
On some previously sold 2.3.7 and 2.3.8 boards, R20 was labeled 104 as 100K resistor. In all current shipping, that changed to 272, or 2.7K resistor. That is for helping 1-wire bus working more stable under hot temperature. If your board R20 labeled as 104, you can solder a little resistor from 1.8K to 5.1K on top of it. Even without that, 2.3.x boards are improved with its switcher IC to handle power.
