which water flow meter ?

Hello

In my project, I've also the idea to measure my water usage and the efficiency of my solar heating panels. I need to measure the water flow.

Main pipes are 3/4" or 1".

Do you know a cheap water flow meter that can be connected to a 1-wire counter ? The flow meter should for example deliver pulse for each liter or fraction of liter. (Reed switch).

I can't find water flow meter at reasonnable price on internet.

Indeed I found a solution. I discover that my actual water flow meter installed by the public company was a a "Marly 3", build by the company Watteau : Watteau (In french only, sorry). It's distributed by the company "Aquatel" In Belgium.

For 17€, I added a REED switch on it (1pulse/l) .... and now, I'll order a 1-wire counter.

If you want to buy a new Marly 3, it costs +/-50€ each.

This is the most economic solution I found
