dont clone the screens... use desktop extension instead and have diginet run on one... diginet uses video overlay... so if you are using it once you cant open it up again to clone the first screen...its hard using a computer to also be a dvr too.... they weren't designed for that... but yet many...
Get any camera with a true HQ1 sony board...vari-focal lens 2.8mm-12mm.....
its a very low lux camera 0.002( stays in colour even at night) i believe the HQ1 is a 500+ tv line res
(remember to focus your camera at night or put tinted glass in front of the lens for focusing)

not sure about your cable providers where all you guys live ... but most digital cable providers here in canada have a dedicated lobby/security channel which gets remapped
for example..
you would delete channel 59 with a single channel deletion filter
then inject the video feed with a...
all you need is a db reading you have to inject the camera modulation feed at the same level as the cable feed coming into the house or building ... if your new toy gives you db reading you are good to go
if you had extra dedicated lines for modulating... but if you go through the same cable you have to use a deletion filter and that would knock off digital channels
it all depends on what the lighting enviroment is in where you are putting the cams in, the resolution of the cams, and camera's features

you can't use logmein to loginto a dvr for watching video .... you can change what ever it is you need to change and follow by doing a system reboot, or it will lock up the video on the dvr..
dvr software uses video overlay as well as logmein they conflict with each other....
