    Zigbee Pro Switches

I guess I'm just looking to see if they will be releasing any light switches based on the Zigbee protocol. They have thermostats and load control modules, just wondering are switches next?

I'm not sure if you can comment on future products, but any plans for Zigbee Pro switches to compliment your UPB line?

Questions about setting up email addresses

Great information. I've got a gmail account and it is okay. The one thing I don't like is they don't have folders, they have tags. Me personally I try to keep my Inbox empty, stuff that I need to respond or do something with.

Questions about setting up email addresses

So I've had my existing hotmail email address since I was in college, and figure that 13 years later it's probably time to setup a more grown up personal email account. Something easier to write out or speak for someone to understand, sounds easy enough right. First of all it is a pain to try...

RCS announces the TW43 Wi-Fi thermostat

Any word on if any vendors have this yet? I'm curious on the price.

Which system for me? Lighting for today, with the potential for further HA.

I'd probably say UPB. I dabbled with Insteon and ZWave before settling with UPB. Insteon seems to be too hit or miss, some hate it, some love it, I think most will agree they have some of the better looking switches when you do the custom engraving. But there have been QC issues. I had started...

    DSL Filters in SMC

What are folks using for DSL filters in a SMC? I see Leviton makes one but so far, they are the only one I can see. I've see a channel vision one listed on a few sites, but I can't find any info on it on Channel Vision's site. I've got my DSL/phone coming into the SMC. And wondering the easiest...

RCS announces the TW43 Wi-Fi thermostat

I'd have to think it would allow for most of the newer encryption methods. I'm very interested in this, it could be a a great retrofit piece.

What would the lowest hardware reqs be for a pc to handle everything

I think a lot of it depends on what you use for media. From what I understand SageTV and VMC don't take a whole lot if your recording. I thought I heard someone say SageTV is pretty small as a service when recording. Your bigger draw is going to be during playback. VMC extenders take a lot of...

I don't have any brand I'm using now, I've seen Leviton, ChannelVision, and if you search for 12 cat5e patch panel on ebay you'll see some generic 12 port ones.
