Somfy limits gorped; how to fix?

Aren't those instructions for new factory-defaulted remotes? I found "Adjusting the Limits in User Mode" in rts-pocket-programming-guide PDF from service.somfy.com I just need to reset limits for a couple of shades and don't want to redo all from scratch..   Also, how do I "add temporary channel...

Somfy limits gorped; how to fix?

I have Somfy blinds connected to my OP2 and someone was working with the Somfy remote and managed to get the limits out of whack.   For some reason the original homeowner setup the blinds as follows:  8 blinds arranged 4 across by 2 down  6 HAI outputs: 1 for the top and bottom shades on the far...

New Omni 4.0b Firmware. Anyone feel lucky?

Ok, I know I probably shouldn't be tacking onto a 3-year old thread, but my questions seem to be most relevant to this discussion...   I have an OP2 with 3.10A firmware (I'm running PCA 3.15.0.803).  I haven't had a reason to update until now, but want to try Myro's Home iOS app and it requires...

OP2: How to read current temp from sensor or PESM

Maybe the freeze sensors I have are contact-only (2-wire) devices and are fixed to open (or close) at a specific temperature?   That would explain why I wouldn't get a temp reading when I tried to configure them as a "temperature sensor"...

OP2: How to read current temp from sensor or PESM

Unfortunately I'm still not on site so can't trace wiring at this time...   I read in the OP2 Owner's manual where a "Freeze" alarm will be activated when any Thermostat or PESM detects a temperature below 40 degrees.  Since Zone 9 (which was configured as Zone Type "Freeze") shows tripped twice...

OP2: How to read current temp from sensor or PESM

    How would I determine that?

OP2: How to read current temp from sensor or PESM

I'm pretty sure this is a very "newbie" question, but i have read all the docs and cannot find how to solve this problem:   The previous owner installed a couple of temperature sensors or PESMs in the house (on Zones 9 & 10) and configured them as Zone Type "Freeze".  I am not sure exactly where...

    Leviton Email Notifier

Pete, What "automation software" are you using for this feature? I also use stunnel for many years and would love to hear about a solution that doesn't involve the Levition notifier board... Thanks

    OP2 lost Network comms

@pete,   Sorry to be so long in getting back to this, but I had to wait until someone was available inside the house to reset the HAI... Good news!: after disconnecting battery and rebooting, the network port started responding to PC Access network connection requests and has been working fine...

    OP2 lost Network comms

For those who are following along: I got someone in the house to: Confirm the OP2 Network Setup: IP Address, Port # and Encryption Keys: all items were correct (matched PC Access Network Options), so nothing there... Unplug the ethernet cable from router and confirmed that pings no longer...

    OP2 lost Network comms

OmniLink is the "new" name for the NQLink app that runs on Android devices. As soon as I saw I could connect to my PC INSIDE the network and run PC Access, I quit testing via "Omnilink (NQLink)" from OUTSIDE my network.   Not sure where you got that I was successful in connecting to OP2 from LAN...

    OP2 lost Network comms

@pete I'm not sure why you're still focusing on firewall issues: I'm NOT trying to connect to the OP2 from outside the gateway and there is NO firewall between my PC on the local network and the OP2.  As soon as I was able to connect to the PC on the local network via VNC, I got around ALL the...

    OP2 lost Network comms

Pete, Thanks for responding. I included my gateway/router model info in my initial post:     Arris SVG2482AC connected to Comcast. As I mentioned in that post, I was able to remote into a Windows PC I leave on 24/7 inside the house (using VNC), so all the rest of the testing was done on the...

    OP2 lost Network comms

After YEARS of stability, I woke up this morning to find my OmniLink software would not connect to the house (I'm not there right now).  Thinking I probably had internet / router issues, I tried to remote into the PC I use to run PC Access from local network and was surprised it came right up. ...
