Does anyone know anything about the protocol over the "protocol adapter", which puts the RS-485 bus on the local network. I've sniffed it with Wireshark and it doesn't look exactly the same. I never see the FF 00 FF packets.    - jason

I'm set to 15 rings, and I have ring/hang-up/answer off. I also have telephone control disabled. Hope this helps. - jason

Monk, I'm glad that you resurrected this thread. I've been meaning to get in here and tell spanky that his 15 rings solution did indeed fix the problem. We have not heard the 3 beeps since making that change. Here's to hoping for a firmware fix. - jason

Man, that sounds like the exact answer, but it is not configured that way. I do have ElkRP. I attached a screenshot of my G29-G42 page for you to look at. Perhaps there is some other setting that is making these beeps happen? - jason
