No landline, want Omni LTe send email messages

Jakar, I eventually got STunnel configured and then Snap-Link was able to send alerts. To finally get it all to work, PeteC was very helpful and offered to help me get it working by my calling him.  He is a very helpful guy, and has been down most of the automation roads and detours, so he can...

Snap-Link No Control of Remote Units

Following up with information for @LQtechvn and @pete_c :  My lighting is a mixture of X-10, Insteon and UPB.  I believe some of the connectivity problems are related to the furnace motor, because I noticed in the summer (with furnace off) if I turned off the air conditioner (therefore the...

Snap-Link No Control of Remote Units

Did all that...synched properly with the controller...can see temps, status etc, but all units display with status "On" and unable to turn off.  There is actually one light that is on, and I can see it from my Ring camera, so I know for certain that it is not turning off when I press "Off".

Snap-Link No Control of Remote Units

Thanks for the PC Access file, Pete. There is no uninstaller for Snap-Link, and it doesn't show in Control Panel > Programs to be able to uninstall it...

Snap-Link No Control of Remote Units

I had installed Snap-Link on my Michigan PC and it was working fine when we left for the winter. Pete C had helped me set it up for messaging and all was correct.   Today in Florida I installed Snap-Link and I can connect as normal to Michigan... Status, Security, Temperature etc, etc all...

No landline, want Omni LTe send email messages

OK, loaded your config file but still not working. Your config file shows SMTP port 465, but when I set my SMTP port to 465, get no sending. Normally set at 587. Am attaching the way everything is set up...both Snap-Link and sTunnel are running continuously, although no sTunnel icon appears in...

Also, sTunnel service is running (actually "sTunnel TLS Wrapper" service), but no icon in taskbar as you referenced.

OK, set up Snap-Link the way you said, and I think the config file is fine, but authentication instructions you referenced say "just do a "make cert" ". Running from command line, error says not a recognized command. Showing my lack of experience again...how does a person run "make cert"?

No landline, want Omni LTe send email messages

Hi Pete,   Sorry for delay in reply. Have been trying to login to CocoonTech from Firefox for several weeks and get error 522 saying Cloudflare says the CocoonTech server is having a problem and to contact the admin. Finally tried my iPhone and it worked, so now using Chrome. Still no reason for...

No landline, want Omni LTe send email messages

Attaching SnapLink4,jpg with port 587 settings. Will try this when temp is up tomorrow and see.   Another question: SnapLink3 screenshot taken this evening shows alarm reset this morning at 11:57, yet console at same moment says Zone Not Ready. How can that be?

No landline, want Omni LTe send email messages

I changed the SMTP port to 465 because that's what the SMTP setting is for gmail in my Thunderbird accounts options, but it still isn't sending alerts.   Attached is the current setting page.   Also, how does the temperature alarm logic work? I see that the temperature exceeds the high setpoint...

Hi Pete,   I did get the temp sensors set up correctly, but I am not receiving email notifications from Snap-Link. I'll attach a screenshot of my SnapLink email setup...maybe you could check it against yours and see where I have made an error in configuration...

Set up Snap-Link and that works fine. However, it's been years since I set up (or rather didn't) the temperature sensor setpoints, and searching the online HAI help section, I didn't see how to do that.
