[Press Release] Smartenit Announces Home Automation Collaboration with Broadcom

Hi az1324,   As far as I know, everything was approved as is from Broadcom's end so the chipset must be accurate.     You are right that the G1 is a different offering entirely.  Look out for something more official on that soon!

[Press Release] Smartenit Announces Home Automation Collaboration with Broadcom

Latest news from us.  Sorry if this isn't the correct forum.  Please let me know if there's somewhere else to post.  Should be interesting to those keeping an eye out on Teleco involvement in home automation sphere: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2014/10/prweb12221014.htm

What ZigBee devices would get you excited?

Hey all,   Thanks so much for all the great feedback!  I'll still monitor the thread and respond as I can.  In the meantime PM me for a discount code good for 5% off anything in our store .  It will be good through the end of February.  Thanks again!

What ZigBee devices would get you excited?

Yep!  Thanks for pointing out that we make lamp/ appliance modules already (that would be ZBMPlug15), az1324   We don't make contact closures for ZigBee per se.  Our ZBLC15 has 2 normally open relays rated 15 A.  We have a whole line of IO devices with contact closure outputs but those are...

What ZigBee devices would get you excited?

Oops.  I was pretty sure it was Azela but I think I just went along with the way they spelled it.       Thanks for all the great feedback in the previous comment and the the compliment here!  Great advice for expanding our line.  Our MLC/ LC units are technically in wall (for switches or...

What ZigBee devices would get you excited?

The dimmer switches are definitely needed.  We currently support the Centralite Azalea line but I think the more the merrier right?     Noted on the fan control.  We support most INSTEON products but I would have to check if we support their fan motors.  Should be interesting to do the...

What ZigBee devices would get you excited?

Oops, so obviously the listed products all work with our Harmony line of gateways.  Forgot to mention that!   And roger that on the ceiling fan controller.  If your fan is controlled by a wall switch and adheres to the specs, you may be able to use our ZBMLC15/ ZBLC15 load controllers btw.  Or...

What ZigBee devices would get you excited?

Sure thing, Automate.     I didn't want to spam the board but we're Smartenit (formerly SimpleHomeNet).     Our ZigBee product line can be found here: http://simplehomenet.com/cats.asp?id=23   The HA certified products we have are: ZBMPlug15, ZBMLC30, ZBMLC15, ZBLC15, ZBWS3B, ZBPCM, ZBRE, ZBHT2...

What ZigBee devices would get you excited?

Hi All,   I posted this over on r/homeautomation on ye olde reddits but I figured I would pose the same question here.   We're a home automation manufacturer specializing in ZigBee devices.  We're looking to expand our offerings.  What sort of ZigBee devices would you like to see?  These will...

The Ultimate Home Automation Hardware List

Don't know if this thread is still active....   The Smartenit Controller Line (Both Intelligent):   Harmony Platinum (ZigBee, wifi w/ expandability to INSTEON & X10)   Harmony Gateway (ZigBee, wifi, INSTEON, X10)

What ZigBee devices would you like to see?

What sort of devices either completely new or just an improvement on existing would you like to see available in ZigBee to make it a more desirable line of products?   I'd like a solid moisture sensor myself in the HA profile.

Going w/ Zigbee over Z-wave.. any thoughts?

Sorry, lost track of the thread.  But yes, these are excellent points.  Though a couple things to note:   1) Control4 (and other propriatries) Technically the proprietary ZigBee companies (like Control4) aren't really a profile.  I mean I suppose they sort of make themselves into pseudo...

Going w/ Zigbee over Z-wave.. any thoughts?

You hit on some interesting points here, Dean:   You're right about multiple protocols within ZigBee.  As a manufacturer you can choose to certify Home Automation (HA), Smart Energy (SE) or any of the rest but there are companies who use the ZigBee radio without a profile (Control4 being an...
