Just got an email from MCM, Sorry, we oversold these. You ain't getting one.

You might be better off without it. There are sad experiences here, some having to do with the vendor but some apparently with the unit itself.

For a rack mount UPS, where can i find a good deal or what should i expect to pay?

I guess between non rack and rack you end up in a whole difference price range?

Maybe it's better to just get a regular UPS and stick it on a shelf in the rack.

I usually order the CyberPower CPS1500AVR when I need a rackmount UPS. They work well, and have a 5 year warranty. You will pay a huge premium for the rackmount feature, so I would recommend the shelf method as well.
