In the installation instructions for TWLI, outputs 7, 8, and 9 are used. In the RP, under Automation-Outputs a note at the bottom says output 10 is also used.
Is that a misprint relative to output 10, or if not, how is output 10 involved in TWLI?
The next generation Two Way Listen In Module is about to be released which also uses Output 10. The latest M1 software uses Output 10 if two Way Listen In is turned on. Therefore Outputs 7,8,9, and 10 are reserved for the Two Way Module.
The next generation Two Way Listen In Module has 3 separate zones with Class D digital amplifiers. The volume of each zone can be separately adjusted.

Thanks for that info, and I just want to be sure I'm interpreting it correctly for my case of having the "legacy" 2WLI module. I think what you are saying is I should NOT use output 10 (i.e. leave it unconnected) for anything, because if I ever update the M1 firmware from my current v4.4.12, the firmware (if 2WLI is enabled) will be sending something out on output 10 even if my 2WLI module does not have the capability to respond to it. Is that correct?
This may seem like a silly question, but I could see it being possible that the unused pins on the J7 connector could be used to detect a module version number for the new release of 2WLI, and the absence of that signal would mean it is the "legacy" version of 2WLI, and the firmware could respond accordingly and allow use of output 10 for other things in that legacy 2WLI case (even with the most up to date firmware).
With two way listen in enabled and the latest firmware, output 10 relay fires upon entry and exit. If I were you I would leave output 10 unused and wait for the new module.
