I have an Ademco Alarm system that is probably 15 years old. The keypad is getting to the place where I have to push the buttons several times to get it to react. I have 2 questions:

#1 can this keypad be replaced with any other key pad by splicing the incoming wiring

#2 is there a place where I can buy an Ademco keypad

thanks in advance for your help

I have a couple of Ademco Vista 20 keypads. PM me

You throw me when you say that you have Vista 20 keypads, being the Vista20 is the control panel.

Compatibale keypads are models such as: 6150 and 6160 (Alpha keypad that must be used for programming)

A list of the current Ademco keypads can be found here: https://www.security.honeywell.com/hsc/prod...i/ad/index.html

I have an Ademco Vista 20 panel and have recently found out that I need a 6160 keypad to easily do zone programming.

Does anyone on here have even an old one around that you do not need?
I do have a 6150 already but need the 6160 to do the zone programming.

Please let me know and thanks.
