With MainLobby, you can have either an IP camera pushing it's image to a webpage which you would display in "WebLobby" (Browser integrated with MainLobby). The much nicer way is to use our new Flash viewer that allows up to 6 camera windows to be placed on a MainLobby scene that displays the full motion video from a PC Capture card.
This is one of those very nice things that Flash supports that you can't do easily with non Flash based approaches. This capability is provided with MainLobby 3 as a free feature.
The Capture card has to be connected to the PC that it is displayed on.
So, here is an example of how it connects:
Camera (or other video source) > RG6 cable > matrix switcher > RG6 cable > TV capture card RF input > MainLobby Client PC > UTMA video output driver > LAN > LAN Switch > Multiple UTMA touchscreens displaying discrete MainLobby sessions, each session could display the TV capture card signal.
good results have been had with the Belkin USB TV capture box.
