AlarmRelay Issues with Uplink?

Today I had my appointment for the configuration of AlarmRelay. I read the threads on CT and switched from NextAlarm. I switched the whole house over to VoIP recently, and cellular communication seemed like a much better option.

Anyway, apparently they have been having issues for the past month with new Uplink customers where they're missing information from CID. I asked when it would be fixed to no avail. So then we set up monitoring using the M1XEP in the meantime and we had trouble getting the cancel CID sent over after an alarm. Again, no solution after 4 1/2 hours on the phone.

Any one else having similar issues or know of a solution to either of these problems? My ultimate goal is to be communicating via Uplink rather than M1XEP. Either way transmission of the cancel is a problem, we changed the cancel window from 0, to 2, to 5 and 30 with the same results.

Not an answer to your question, but I just hooked up to NextAlarm with Uplink and it is working great. Am curious what caused you to change. I have uplink as my primary and POTS my secondary, have tested both, get full CID data on both.

There are several issues reported here with M1XEP and Alarm relay not working well also.

Sounds like a configuration error on their template, as the Uplink takes the serial data and retransmits to Uplink, then is ported either via POTS or IP from Uplink to the CS. Uplink transmits everything the panel sends, so as long as the report is enabled in the M1, it's there.

Sounds like a templating issue with the CS.
