Recently, I stopped receiving emails from my M1XEP, and it was because Comcast stopped receiving SMTP communication through port 25.
Apparently in an effort to reduce spam, Comcast is now requiring use of port 465 or 587 for outgoing client servers.
To get things working again, I went to my M1XEP email set-up page in ElkRP2 and changed port 25 to 587 (port 465 didn't work).
Maybe this post will help others with similar problems.
