Anyone using Subsonic?

I spend over an hour a day in my car, so for several years now, I have been listening to music via my favorite online radio apps, or Google Music to access my personal collection.
 
However, Google Music has some extremely annoying bugs and limitations, to the point I want to get away from it.
 
It looks like Subsonic allows me to create a similar setup, and then some.
 
Has anyone tried this software?  How do you like it?

I love it so much but used it a long time ago. I think it's 2 months.

I played with it on the Chumby a while ago.  It was a flash application someone wrote for the Chumby.  Worked well on the Chumby.
