Just had a rude awakening. Have my garage doors setup for Burgler Entry/Exit 2 and Force Arm. Last night, armed the system Stay/Night by pressing the Stay key twice. Didn't look at the (now I know) blinking green light.
Woke up this morning to my neighbor calling and asking why the garage door was open all night.
I assumed that the force zone would not let me arm with a keypress (without entering the code first) if a force zone was violated. Just tried it again and - arm stay does not require the code if the garage door is open - SURPRISE!
Other than my actually checking the status BEFORE I arm at night (reasonable, but not likely), any suggestions how to have a warning that the garage door is open when I arm? Since it won't let me arm stay when the interior motions are triggered, even though they are interior motions (type 04), I figured it wouldn't let me arm w/Burgler Entry violated, but I guess the force is the issue. Need force, though, because it may take a while to get the cars out in the am after arming away.
What did I miss? SUGGESTIONS??
Thanks!
