Stick-N-Find Technologies announced that they will be shipping the Bluetooth 4.0 'stickers as early as next week. An e-mail has been send out to backers, asking them to pick the desired colors, and the opportunity to increase the pledge at the original price.
Another surprise is that they have managed to improve the range of these sensors from 100' to 150'.
In case you don't remember, the Stick-N-Find tags are designed to track missing objects, pets, kids, anything within a 150' range (line of sight). The tags can also light up, and vibrate. You only need a second to realize how much potential they have for us home automation folks.
They are also offering an app for both iOS and Android, which will make tracking down these tags extremely easy.
Don't forget their long-range Bluetooth device (2500'), ideal for detecting when 1 or more of your vehicles is parked in the garage (heck, maybe tag your mail guy's truck
), and also offers internal GPS logging. Unfortunately, the IndieGoGo campaign for this device has ended, but the device can be pre-ordered via their website.
