Haiku Audio questions

Hi,
 
I have a new house being built and have been looking at the Omnipro II with Haiku interface. It looks very nice but I cannot find much information on automation as far as audio is concerned. Ideally I would like to play music from itunes or other app such as Rhapsody through a set of speakers around the house. Is it compatible with Airplay speakers ?
Do you have any recommendations for hardware and their configuration ? Is it all controllable from within Haiku on iphone or ipad ?

There is built in support for the audio systems the controller supports, like NuVo and Russound. You get playback control and metadata but no browsing currently. iTunes control is doable via HaikuHelper, but in Haiku it would be just playback control and via buttons, so not ideal. It is possible to create a full ui using HaikuHelper, then you can get browsing and full customization, but that requires custom ui development using web technologies.

I would recommend something like the NuVo Essentia G. It will let you stream iTunes and AirPlay (via an AirPort Express) over it too.

Thanks for your reply. 
Nuvo Essentia is not an option. WAY too expensive. Don't understand why.
I will just use itunes or the apple remote app. 
 
You might be hearing from me a bit more in the next few months, once I have the omnipro II installed in my new house.
