Automation Rule for Keyboard Options

I just installed my Elk M1G system and would like to modify the keypad options using an automation rule.

For example I would like to have the LED's on during the day, but off at a certain time (or when the alarm is set in night mode). Other uses would be to have the keyboard keys "beep" during the day, but not in the morning when I turn off the alarm while the wife is sleeping.

It does not look like this functionality is available using automation rules. Has anyone found a way to do this?

To the best of my knowledge, these features aren't supported via rules; They're features that have been requested though.
