Bathroom TV

Hello All,
I am looking to install a tv, 19-36-Inch, above a soaking tub and wanted some feedback.
Has anyone here installed a tv in the bathroom?
Moisture is a concern so this must be taken into consideration.

Thanks

Control the humidity via automation, then the TV will be safe/r =)

Will let you know, hehe I am putting a cheap tv in my bathroom, can't afford a special TV...

I just bought a 19" to mount on the wall. The bathroom is small - the TV will be mounted on the opposite wall of the shower (about 5 feet away.

TV was a good deal - I hope the moisture is ok...

I had the idea to put a flat-screen with the brightness cranked all the way up behind a sheet of one-way glass in the bathroom. The mirrored glass would serve as the vanity, but the display would come through in the right lighting conditions. I planned to frame the glass and put bathroom caulking behind the frame, surrounding it so no moisture could get behind and into the wall where the screen would be housed.
The added benefit would be that you could watch the news/traffic/weather while you shave in the morning since it would probably be possible to not only see the television but shift your attention to the reflection in front of the screen as well.
Never got around to it since it was low on the list of things to do and a relatively expensive project in ratio to necessity. If you choose to explore this option, I would do a test with a piece of the reflective glass you plan on using. Most of the stuff I've seen is tinted so you would have to make sure the screen would be bright enough to compensate.

Good luck.

Very cool idea... Stayed at a hotel in Vegas that had a TV behind the mirror. Was a nice touch...

These guys have options for both with the TV, and just mirror only, bring your own TV.

Moisture may not be the only concern. My builder had to remove an outlet installed on a wall by the tub. Apparently code does not permit outlets adjacent to tubs. The inspector acknowledged we will probably put the outlet back in as soon as we get the CO, the builder just removed the recepticle and put a cover on it, but said he wanted to cover his liability.
