Best Source of Cable and Wire

I had the most issues trying to find 16/2 and 16/4 cables for my speakers.
I was looking for 500/1000 ft spools and still had issues getting these at a reduced price.
It was about 10 years ago and I ended up stumbling on sale ad from one of the major suppliers with no end of sale date.
That said the web site let me purchase the wire at the sale price. A bit later I received an email after acceptance of the monies that it was an "old ad". The vendor though came through and sold me the cable at the reduced price. Here again though I had started the speaker endeavor with a thinner jacketed Monster cable (still the same guage) which was very difficult to strip because of the thiness of the outer sheilding jacket.
The last spools of 16/4 and 16/2 speaker cable were purchased from Monoprice and price and quality appeared just fine to me. Bulky cable with a jacket even thicker than the above mentioned 500/1000 foot spools of speaker cable.

Just wanted to post an update on where I ended up purchasing wire. I ended up with some CAT6 and speaker cable from Monoprice, Southwire RG6 QS and Monster speaker wire from Amazon, and CAT6, RG6 QS and speaker wire from Paige Electric. I'm in the middle of installation and all the cable is good quality. The Monoprice and Paige Electric cables are comparable. The Monster speaker cable is okay, but has a thiner shield then the others. My vote at this point though is Paige Electric if you can get dealer pricing....otherwise, Monoprice is a good bet for everything but RG6.
