I had some time to test out the EVGA UV Plus+ USB VGA Display Port I purchased back in May. Good new is that the display works really well with my spare ELO Touchscreen with no noticeable flicker and good response when used with Now Playing skin. The bad news for me is that when booting my Dell 4600 it hangs on the Bios screen (even with the USB boot devices disabled) so not sure what I am going to do. I was looking at using this with my HA server to add a second ELO screen in my finished basement. I will have to rethink that and possibly use the Advent 7" I picked up after I got this. But all in all the EVGA UV Plus+ is a cheap way to add a second monitor that works well.
Earlier this summer I came across a cool device. It is a Advent ADV3500PC 7" Portable GPS Navigation with built in Tablet PC. This small system runs Windows XP. Netremote runs great on it. If your looking for a small touchscreen device this is the one to get. It listed for $1500 but is was sold for $270
Many people in the chat room jumped on it when I told them about and they pretty much sold out on Buy.com and not many on Ebay even.
There is one in the forum classified for sale so now is your chance if your running CQC or Netremote.
