I've posted a lot of pictures of my retrofit project for my new house. It's been a great experience so far!
I'm converting the smaller of two closets in the master bedroom into an equipment room. I cut through the wall into the bonus room (soon to be my Home Theater). From the bonus room, the equipment room will look like a large in-wall cabinet. Open it up, and you'll see the front of the dual racks. Enter the room from the master bedroom, and you'll be presented with the rear of the racks and security can. This room has 80A of power on four circuits running through it. Dual 19" 42U equipment racks are installed to house my networking, computers, and audio gear. A 42" low voltage can is installed to house my Elk and accessories. A new AC unit/ventailation will be installed as well.
As the project progresses, all low votage wires in the house will slowly be rerouted into this room.
