Buying a Vera controller - What else should I have in the basket ?

I'm going to buy "my" Me Casa Verde Vera today and would like, at the same time, to buy some basic devices to learn and start using it.

I want to eventually control the door locks, the lights, many appliances. I already have a TED5000.
What about HA-02WD, HSM100, ZRP100, Aeon Labs micro-swirtch ?

In summary, what would be the recommendations for a "starter kit" ?

They have a special going this month which includes an Aeon Labs appliance module. As for other hardware, I would check out your local Radioshack and see if they have any useful Z-Wave hardware left.

Fron what I read everywhere, Radio Shack seems a good place to buy these devices...but there is no more Radio Shack in Canada. Tell me, when you say "if they have any useful Z-Wave hardware left", does that mean that the are closing the business, or just dropping HA equipments ?
