I built a new sheet that might be helpful to any one that is building a new system. I just wanted to get all of my pull info in one easy to use document.
I have to get a couple more posts under my belt before I can post it so I will give you a run down. A lot of the pulls are for future but I want to make sure I cover all of the basics.
I will be using an Elk M-1 gold with the M1DBH and 4 keypads. The system will have 10 door switches, no window sensors at this point (may use wireless if I see the need in the future), 3 smokes, 3 CO detectors, 2 glass break sensors, 3 temp sensors, water detectors, 2 expansion boards, 5 motions and an outdoor siren. I will fit it all into Elk's 28" enclosure.
All of the data / telephone / satellite will come into 2 - 42" leviton SMC's. I want to give my self a lot of extra space to work with / expand.
For my whole home audio I will be going with a Nuvo GC using the 2 of the NV-P2100 expanders for a total of 8 zones of audio. I want to install an intercom system that will work well as a door bell and in-home intercom and the only one I can find that I like is the russound compoint. I know it will look funny with the compoint keypad mounted beside a nuvo keypad but is there any other reason that the two cannot work together?
Right now I have no plans for the lighting control but I will be wiring all of the switches with neutrals so I can keep my options open. Same for automation control/software, no plans yet but I want to keep my options open.
The house is a 2200 sq/ft bungalow with a walk out basement. We are expecting our first baby in the next couple of weeks so I would like to install a baby monitor solution that will be easy for the wife to use, right now I like the looks of Channel Visions P-6014 sequencer with Channel Visions 6210 Cat5 Decora type cameras with built in mic's.
Once I get a couple more posts up I will post the link for the spreadsheet.
