caddx nx-6 panel questions

Okay,

so I ordered a nx-6 panel and I set it up on a test board at my house to try to set it up. I have a few questions.

Fire alarms. 2 wire smoke detectors can be hooked up to the aux 4 terminal with and eol resistor or it can be hooked up to zone6?

On factory settings, zone 1 (entry/exit delay 1) would be for entry doors with keypads. Zone 2 (interior follower with auto-bypass enabled) would be for interior motion detectors (they get by passed with the stay button ) and zone 3 (instant) would be widow contacts, glass breaks and such. Am I correct?

If I am correct on the above zone types, what is the difference between zone type "instant" and zone type "follower with auto-bypass disabled" ?

This system is not very user friendly and there seems to be many typos in the manual, but I am working my way though most of them.

Not as familiar with the NX-6, but on an NX-8 V2 control board I used, the two-wire smokes had to be connected with the proper EOL resistor on Zone 8 and no other. The AUX+ connection was used for 4 wire smokes, the proper supervising relay and any zone of ones choice.

On the NX-6, if the pattern follows suit, Zone 6 would be your two-wire smoke zone.

The diagram on the directions and the panel cover show that you can hook up to aux 4 and the other wire to a common terminal with the eol.
