Can motion sensor be connected to keypad input?

Each Keypad has an optional input on it. Can a motion sensor use this input and use the power/ground from the keypad wiring, or would it draw too much current?

Yes, no problem in connecting a motion detector to the keypad input and powering it from the data bus +12VDC power.

Keypad 1's zone input will be zone 193, keypad 2 is 194....

Right click Zones, click New Hardwire Zones.

Select qty of 1, start at #13 and you'll get the keypad input zones.
