Cartell with Omni Pro II

Hello All,
I am installing a Cartell CT-2B probe which will connect to an Omni Pro II.

The Cartell control box has inputs as follows:

1=+12v
2=negative
3=18vdc
4=Transient Suppressor
5=NC
6=C
7=NO
8=annunciator
9=annunciator
10=Probe Red
11=Probe shield
12=Probe Black

There is a ground terminal on the control box which is connected to the omni ground.
12 volts is provided by a Cartell transformer.

I am using the EOL resistors option.

How do I connect this probe and what type of zone should it be in the controller (aux?) ?

HAI / Cartell Driveway Sensor Integration

This document will explain the integration of the Cartell Driveway Sensors and the HAI Automation panels. Sample Programs will also be included to give the user some ideas of the type of automation that can be accomplished with this integration.

Connection from Cartell Driveway Sensor (Model CT-2B) to the HAI Automation Panel:

Connect the Power supply to terminals 1 and 2 on the Cartell Driveway Sensor. If using a model different from CT-2B adjust the connections accordingly.
Connect either the NC and C or the NO and C terminals of the Cartell Sensor to a zone on the HAI board. Install a resistor according to the terminals connected to. If NC and C were used the resistor should be in series. If NO and C were used the resistor should be in parallel.
On the HAI system, select the proper zone type for the Driveway Sensor. The zone types can be found under Setup>>Installer>>Zones. NOTE: Unless this is to be used for security purposes, the zone type should be set to Auxiliary (Type 64).
Sample Automation Programs:

The first program example will turn on the outdoor lighting for 20 minutes when the driveway sensor is tripped at night.

WHEN Driveway NOT READY

AND IF DARK

THEN Outdoor Lights ON FOR 20 MINUTES

The next programming example will change the view on a touchscreen to the proper camera when the driveway sensor is tripped.

THEN SHOW CAMERA 1 ON TOUCHSCREEN 1
