My newly constructed house has CAT6 cabled to every room. My HT installer used the CAT6 to "create" component cables for my three HDTVs (one plasma, one LCD and one DLP). Could the same be done to "create" an HDMI cable?
I don´t se how, because HDMI is a precision and small connector. I think is better to use something like this http://www.gefen.com/kvm/product.jsp?prod_id=3872, expensive but effective, it uses two cat5 cables.
