Hi all,
Has anyone successfully used the Centralite Elagance driver found on the Premise FTP site? (http://www.premisesystems.com/downloads/samplexdos/Centralite/)
I am able to send commands to the Elegance system without any trouble, but I'm running into issues since the driver does not seem to have two-way communication like the Lutron driver does. If lights are turned on around the house with the Elegance keypads, Premise
does not get the new status of the lights, which causes issues with scenes and other scheduled tasks...not to mention the browser displaying the incorrect lighting status to the client if they're using the browser.
As a test, I tried adding a timer that runs a script every minute to poll the brightness of a single light: "^F038". The light is physically off but Premise shows it on at 100%. I was hoping to use the "00" brightness response text from the Elegance to trigger the OnChangeOnNewData script (to change the brightness and powerState based on the response), but it does not seem to trigger the script. I am seeing the response in black text in the PortSpy. Do OnNewData scripts not run when the response from a device query comes back? Do they only run when a message originates from the device in question without being polled?
This is really the last hurdle for me with this house and it's killing me. I told the owner from the very beginning that the lighting would possibly be one-way communication only, but now they're no longer ok with that. I've already got their Somfy shades, HAI security and HVAC, and Russound CAV6.6 working great. If anyone has any tips, suggestions, or solutions that might help, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
Will Gosling

Will,
I have a module that has been out there and in use for a few years. Please email your full contact information and I will dig it up.
