Here is a great product that was awarded a CES 2009 "Innovation" Award. It's a coiled cord that comes in a variety of applications (USB, Speaker, Network, etc...) and can stretch or shrink to a specific needed size.

This is great for help with the clutter behind many of our computers and home theater racks/stands. What I like about this method is the ease of which you can change a length.
