Premise Cheap, cheap Premise Remote!

I just received my Kindle from Amazon (free plug!). One word. WOW!

The book thing, shopping, and all of that is great; but given it has a web browser...

So I fired up the browser, had to make an adjustment on a couple of .gifs to make them more visible (its black and white), then hit that lucky number ':86'. No surprise, but it works. Its not a touchscreen; you get around by moving the cursor..no big deal.

I have built a remote control capability for the minibrowser, so off to the races! Stereo on, volume down, TV lit up...

I'll use one of the other roots (xb) versus the iphone root (ip), so I'll have some massaging to do, but it looks good; works great!

And only $139 bucks!

(I'll put some pix up when I get a base UI optimized for the kindle if anyone is interested)

I'm interested; please post some pics when you get everything fine tuned. I've never owned any of the book readers, but their displays look like they'd be easy to read outside.

There are also some cheap Android tablets showing up and I have seen Internet Explorer on some.??? There is even a 7" version rumored for Walgreens at about $150.
