Cleaning tips for hardwood floors

I have  white oak hardwood floors which are quite old and with natural oil based finish. We usually clean simply with damp cloth and mixture of bleach and water. We have been following it from quite some time. Now I have got a new space downstairs with victorian hardwood flooring, finished with oil-based urethane. I found an article on cleaning tips for victorian hardwood flooring http://www.rbcclean.com/blog/cleaning-tips/tips-for-cleaning-victorian-hardwood-floors/ .It gives many tips ranging from cleaning using boiled water and tea bag. I want more tips on cleaning options for my new flooring. Would like to adopt professional methods adopted by high level industrial cleaning services. I cannot afford experiments with my new flooring. Please chime in with your valuable suggestions.

I have seen them done with an orbital buffing machine and steel wool pad. After cleaning with the steel wool you would add paste wax and buff with a soft pad using the same machine,

The steel wool and wax job is assuming that the flooro is natural wood and does not have a urethane or other protective finish coat.
