Haiku "Code Name" not populating in Haiku App, or HaikuHelper web interface

Haiku's event log seems to be retrieving incorrect data (both for the app and the web interface):

Instead of retrieving the assigned Code Name, it's retrieving the Code Number instead. Same for Access Control Card Reader Number rather than what I want, the Card Reader Name.

Example: "[event #] [event date] A Access Granted At 1" where A should be the user's name, and 1 should be the name of the particular card reader.

I have tried the "Clear Cache" instructions that seem to be the easy answer, with no success.

SnapLink has no trouble retrieving the correct information.

Anyone experience something similar, or have suggestions on how I might fix this?

I couldn't find the edit button, but I wanted to add that Haiku has no problem retrieving the Code Names for alarm functions (like when a user arms or disarms the system).

Make sure you have a short name set for these users in PC Access, not just a description. Upload the names, then tap the Clear Cache option in Haiku > More > About > Top right action button.

You are correct, the codes in question have been assigned "Code Names", and no descriptions. I've performed the Clear Cache several times.

No I left it blank since the instructions indicate that's what I should do for my installation (this isn't a mounted installation).

If I do tap on it, in the "Pick an Area" screen it says "no matching objects could be found. Ensure you've connected to this controller previously."

I'm trying to be patient and understanding that this is a niche product that doesn't have a massive set of resources behind it to identify and resolve issues—but the lack of documentation and support is extremely frustrating.

I would be more than happy to sell both these pieces of software as part of the security and automation solutions I provide my customers, but I simply can't do that if there are both bugs in the software and an unresponsive support team.

A little bit of communication goes a long way in this business. I don't doubt Nullriver will get their Leviton payday once HAI has been fully consumed and assimilated, but this is a crappy way of treating your current paying customers.

We're here to help you. The next update will correct this. It looks like you are the first to notice that this type of log entry is not properly including the names.

Thank you for the response, that's all I was looking for.

Now I can tell my customer that while yes, this is currently a (minor) issue, we (you as the supplier and me as the vendor) are aware of it, and it's being addressed in a future update.

Update: iOS update and Mac Store update became available to me yesterday, literally the day I delivered this particular customer's system.

Your agility is impressive, thanks for the quick turnaround on that fix. I'm looking forward to learning how to really put this Pro II through it's paces with the Haiku apps.
